ICPI Courses:

ICPI Installer Continuing EducationParticipants who attend a course and earn a passing grade on the exam receive a Record of Completion. Participants interested in earning an ICPI Concrete Paver Installer certification or designation must meet minimum installation experience requirements.

ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course and Certification Exam

Two-day course, Oct. 17-18
8AM–5PM, Hyatt Regency Louisville

This two-day course equips contractors with classroom training to properly install interlocking concrete paving systems according to industry established guidelines. Job planning, soil characteristics, compaction, base materials, bedding and joint sands, concrete paver installation and maintenance are covered plus safety, estimating, job costing and contract basics. Who should attend? Contractors involved in the residential and commercial installation of interlocking concrete pavements with a year or more of experience.

ICPI Advanced Residential Paver Technician Course

Two-day course, Oct. 17-18
8AM–5PM, Hyatt Regency Louisville

Ready to take your concrete paver projects to the next level? This two-day advanced-level course for residential hardscape contractors covers some of the hottest topics in outdoor living space design and construction, specifically specialty applications such as raised and multi-level patios, fireplaces, fire pits, grills, outdoor kitchens, pool decks and permeable interlocking concrete pavement. It is highly recommended that participants have completed the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course prior to attending this course. A Residential Paver Technician designation can be earned by meeting additional requirements. Attendees earn 13 CE Credits for their ICPI Certified Installer requirements.

ICPI Commercial Paver Technician Course

Two-day course, Oct. 17-18
Hyatt Regency Louisville

If you are a current commercial contractor or are looking to expand your business to the commercial market, this course is for you! Attend this two-day course to learn the best practices for interlocking concrete pavements construction for commercial applications. Topics include stabilized bases, bedding sand hardness, durability, overlays and inlays, rigid applications, roof plaza decks, concrete grid pavements, mechanical installation, Master Format specifications, liens, construction details, plan reading, submittals, estimating software, on-screen takeoffs and more. It is highly recommended that participants complete the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course prior to attending. A Commercial Paver Technician designation can be earned by meeting additional requirements. Attendees earn 13 CE Credits for their ICPI Certified Installer requirements.

ICPI PICP Specialist Course

One-day course, Oct. 18
8AM–5PM, Hyatt Regency Louisville

This one-day course is a must for experienced contractors who would like to build permeable interlocking concrete pavement systems. Learn key installation techniques including job planning and layout, estimating, soil and site characteristics, sub-base and base materials, edge restraints, bedding and jointing materials, paver selection, installation and maintenance. Previous attendance at the ICPI Concrete Paver Installer Course is highly recommended but not required. A PICP Specialist designation can be earned by meeting additional requirements. Attendees earn 7 CE Credits for their ICPI Certified Installer requirements.

NCMA SRW Installer Course and Exam

One-day course, Oct. 17

NCMA Advanced Residential SRW Installer Course and Exam

One-day course, Oct. 18
8AM–5PM, Hyatt Regency Louisville

This one-day program increases your value to customers by teaching advanced SRW applications and installation techniques, and it is open to NCMA-Certified SRW Installers (CSRWI) who are engaged in the advanced construction of SRWs. The program is focused on advanced residential applications and small commercial jobs where stairs, corners, pillars, etc. are incorporated. Attendees earn 6 CE Credits for their ICPI Certified Installer requirements.

NCMA Advanced Commercial SRW Installer Course and Exam

One-day course, Oct. 18
8AM–5PM, Hyatt Regency Louisville

This one-day program increases your value to customers by teaching advanced SRW applications and installation techniques, and it is open to NCMA-Certified SRW Installers (CSRWI) who are engaged in the advanced commercial construction of SRWs. The program is focused on advanced commercial and transportation applications. Attendees earn 6 CE Credits for their ICPI Certified Installer requirements.
